07 cbr1000rr 22,000miles. starting chugging at low rpms and neutral this past weekend. checked for kinked hoses, couldnt find any. added seafoam and that hasnt fixed the problem. any suggestions or anyone that has had the same problem. also pulling off in first from a stop i have to open the throttle more than usual or it will die. changed the fuel pump a few days before the problem but it was running fine until the weelend. any help appreciated.
never saw any rust. the last owner, a friend of mine took great care of her. but the fuel pump was brand new. was put on by a certified mechanic, not diy. it was running fine for the first 3 days or so then the chugging and stalling out of first started
I just chased a surging/stalling issue due to the person who had my bike before installing my aftermarket taillight incorrectly causing a faulty power supply to my Bazzaz fuel management system so I rewired the taillight/power supply and not a problem since
i found the problem guys. the plastic snap that holds the fuel pressure regulator came off in the tank. so it wasnt pushing through the correct fuel pressure. snapped it on and all is well.thanks for the replies though fellas.
