I clean my bike after everytime I ride it. Keep the bugs off of it. Stuff like that. Clean the wheels. Keep it nice and shiny. What are the best products you guys use for the same usage? Like a spray wax cleaner or like a quick wax that you use after it's all clean stuff like that. Thanks
My buddy uses this stuff and his 08 still looks like it is 100% brand new. It's all I will ever use now. Can be had at most dealerships for much cheaper than online.
I heard honda and original are they same thing marketed in different packages.
Either way they both work pretty good.
I use cheapo dollar tree rags to get all the nasty stuff off and then wipe everything down with a nice chammy.
I really like SPARKLE for cleaning the bugs off. It's a spray foam cleaner.
It also works excellent on face shields and windscreens. It doesn't harm the plastic in any way, and it smells nice.
Problem is... it's hard to get.
You have to find an ATCO sales rep and order it by the case.
It's a corporate industrial product.
When Doing a real clean, I use meguairs soap followed by wax + sealant.
Clay as needed http://www.autogeek.net/ultra-fine-poly-clay.html
Never have polished my bike except when I removed the warning sticker from the tank, I did a 2 step Girot's polish to smooth that out.
Don't use tire cleaner/shiner on motorcycles!
Buy quality Cloths, If I drop a cloth on the ground Ill convert it to a tire/rim cloth or grease rag.
I want to learn more about this honda cleaner + polish, does it actually polish as in remove swirl marks by cutting small amounts of the clear coat or is that just a name they gave it meaning "shiny"

You nailed it sir. Do you have a car that got you started on using the Wolfgang stuff? I use this on my bike as well and it looks like you added 3 layers of clear coat to it. It attracts dust but man you can't top it!
60+ year old guy with a $30k panigale told me he uses WD40 for his fairings.
thoughts? sprays on the microfiber cloth/rag and cleans the plastics that way
I use WD-40 to clean my firearms, too.
It is a good gunk dissolver.
WD-40 has it's uses, but it is not good for everything. You have to use it for what it can do.
It's NOT a good lubricant. It will dry and leave a film.
I like PB BLASTER as a light spray lube. ( Not for chains )
Lots of people hate WD-40. But that is just silly.
It does what it does. Use it correctly. It's not good for everything!
I will spray some WD-40 on a rag, and then wipe my rear wheel with it.
It removes the chain fling residue like magic.
Then I will use a spray cleaner on the wheel, and a clean rag to finish it off.
I bought the Honda polish off Amazon and just got it yesterday. I wanna say I've tried a lot of the spray detailers and most of them suck ass ESPECIALLY for bugs. I will see how this stuff shakes out.
