The footpegs have been moved further back 10mm, and the handlebar angles have been revised inward and downward to move the rider triangle slightly downward and forward.
Seems like the bar angle is what's bad.... Not sure why they did that. 10mm back is not much at all. I was hoping they made it a better angle or even a hair taller.
I just got a 2006 and 120 miles on it the other day with a lot of downhill twisty braking left me a bit uncomfortable that evening....
Super Duke 1290 is definitely a beast, but imho the best thing about that is that it will knock the price of the old Super Duke 990 down a heap.
~1000cc anything is plenty of bike for the street, and much above 120 mph or so on a naked is starting to get unpleasant anyway.
Most modern bikes will do 100,000 km or more with no major problems, buying something a couple of years old is an easy way to get a massive amount of bike for peanuts.
