PM me if you want, I am in Harrisburg, PA - my 08 1krr has 3k miles. Yeah, seriously.
I don't ride much at all anymore. I have a 12" titanium rod fused through my spine from scoliosis and kyphosis (curvature front to back, and also side to side). Has a carbon Erion exhaust, with carbon side filler panel (have stock exhaust), misc OEM Honda carbon fiber bits, shorai lithium lightweight battery, black frame plugs, carbon heel guards - and a few other minor things. Never touched the undertail, or lighting - bike was NEVER down. Doesn't have a single scratch on it. I have every single receipt for all parts, everything was maintained at my local speed shop.
Not selling for any other reason other than it really rips my back up, and I am getting older (34, lol). Reason for the low miles, I had a RC51 the whole time I've owned the CBR1000rr, but I sold the RC51 last year. When I ride, it's only to work - and I am stuck in 30 minutes of bumper to bumper traffic, for an 8 mile ride to work. So it's not really "fun" for me anymore. All my friends have sold their bikes, and I have no one to weekend ride with.
You may laugh, but the sale of the bike would all be put towards an Elio Motors "car" *it gets 80+mpgs* - I have a 400+hp civic SI that just sucks down gas, and its getting expensive keeping the tank filled, so I need another vehicle.
Again, just to reiterate - the bike doesn't have a single scratch on it, never tracked (I cant) and never stunted (I cant do that either). The bike is just taking up prized real estate in my garage, I don't really need the money.
I am not sure what I'd ask for it yet, but $6500 would be too low. I'd most likely be firm at $7200 for a mint condition, oil changed every 6 months, prime example of a CBR1000rr. Its the silver color from 2008. It's not an oil burner either. I also have BRAND NEW un-mounted tires I would throw in for free. Thats worth $330 give or take right there. I also have a brand new Lockhart tinted windscreen, and brand new Bazaaz Z-bomb. You could sell the stock (or aftermarket) exhaust and recoup some money as well. You could have all the parts I listed above for free.
I would have available for purchase (separately) the upgraded Honda OEM energy seat (really comfy, the only way *I* could even ride the bike, and a OEM silver rear cowl, and a Brand new OEM Honda bike cover (OEM Honda from Europe, looks way different then our bike covers in the USA do. It was more expensive as well).
Sorry for the long winded post - just throwin the idea out there.
