Looks like I've just had my opinion of law enforcement changed again!
I really couldn't beleive what they said about that Marine

sometimes people post like that on their own forums just to get a rise out of someone, or to make themselves feel like more of a person. Whatever it takes, I guess. heartless dickheads, IMHO.

There are bad eggs in every group, Law Enforcement is no exception. I know a lot of cops, and a few are of this mindset as well. They are not the majority.
I ask you to ponder this-
Who is the bigger asshole? The runner or the pissed off Cop who has to chase these people and risk their own lives as part of the job?
Not taking sides here, just providing fodder for discussion.

Yea you are right res. I have many family members that are law enforcement. I was even considering it. Heck I beleive in capitol punishment, an eye for an eye. But bragging about how someone suffers whether he was a 10 time loser or not is a little much. The comment about the Marine was entirely out of line.
I know a few bad apples can ruin the entire basket just like with our sport a few stunters on the freeway can paint us all as iresponsible.
I'm not saying all cops are bad. I personally know alot of them and they do take alot from the general public but to think that there are cops out there that would just as soon see us dead than write out a ticket kinda bothers me some.

Listen to that one guy, he starts yelling at another just for asking a question he can't understand, and tells him that he'll get kicked out. They can't even get along with eachother, let alone regular people. I guess all that authority went to his head.
