POOF and it was Gone !!!

So my Buddy had his 06' Blue and yellow stolen yesterday. We are in Maine and from the details i got it was a couple of black guys from Mass.

He had it posted on craigslist and they came up to look at it/buy it

Apparently they took it right from under him, So i don't know if it was taken for a test drive and never returned, or at gun point but either way it is gone.

Any advice for him?

That !@#$%^& sucks!!! What a couple of low life pieces of shit.

Usually we don't have to deal with this kinda crap up in rural Maine. Hell, when I was at the fallen riders funeral the other day I accidentally left the key in my bike the whole time.

Yeah man, they take those things, and strip them in a matter of a couple hours. All they gotta do is throw it in a back of a van and thats it. Fucking sucks

Get a concealed weapons permit. Hell, when I sold my R6 back in January, I was going to drive 2 hours to meet the buyer halfway for delivery, so I packed my Springfield .45 in a holster with some hollows to the back of my belt, and hid it under my sweatshirt. Did the same thing when I went to pickup up my 1000rr that I had to drive 3 hours to pickup. Though down here in Kentucky/Tennessee there isn't a problem with bikes getting stolen, but still. I'd rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

Just a guy who loves to ride and fly!

Check your local laws.. my concealed weapons permit DOES NOT allow me to defend property with it. This is in Michigan, though. I thought Texas was the only place where you could do that.

you must be talking about the castle doctrine.
it says you do not have a duty to retreat or give up.
so if someone tries to take you out of your car you can fight them legally rather than just being forced to give it to them without a fight.

bikes
that would be an interesting precedent.

Perception is how you see, not what.
