stock gearing sucks

ive got a 05 1000RR and the stock sprockets really sucked, way overgeared

i just changed it today, they only go up to 42 t and the stock was 40
so i got one cutom made to 45 and went down on the front -1 to 15 t

so its now 15/45 thats -1 +5 and its so much better
im so happy now

Sprocket knowledge is not your strong point, but glad you found a setup to your liking. Welcome to the board BTW.

Stock rear is 41, and 40-45 sprockets are widely available. I do agree that the stock setup is too tall, even on the track.
