Is your 08-09 burning a lot of oil?

I own 2008, 2/08 build date, just under 4K for miles. No oil consumption.
Is there a poll or am I mis reading the original thread.

Somone make a poll with like four choices burns 250ml or 500ml or 1000ml per 1000 miles or doesnt burn at all.

9,500 KMs on the odo, no oil burning issues.

How about 1/2 or more quarts in 300 miles. First took the bike in back in July, after going back and forth with honda for a while had the "updated" rings installed. Top the bike off on a sunday morning and 300 miles later I couldnt tell how much oil I had cause the dipstick was D R Y!! Bike is currently back at the dealer and I'm still talking to Honda to see what's next.

Good thing I have an 04 as well or I would have miss most of the summer.

Forgot to mention: problem didnt start till about 5000 miles, bike now has 8000 mostly due to Honda telling me to "have the dealer top it off and bring it back after riding 1000miles"

I am not going to vote simply for this reason,,,,,,,,first 08 L.E. #132 bought Aug.08 burned more than a quart in 800 miles........my second one bought July 09 used a 1/4 of a quart in 2000 miles so my two bikes cancell each other out. Im even one did one didnt. or can I vote for the one that burned only?

mine is still using oil . I'm wondering if anybody has had this issue with aftermarket pistons ? I ordered a set of JE Pistons to see if it's just an issue with the factory rings. I'm not putting them in until this winter.

I voted for my roommate because he's not registered on this board... he's got an 08 and it's consuming a lot of oil (he has about 3000 miles on it).
