Yeah - as in EVERYONE I ever meet who has one...

And didn't Honda state that the oil consumption was "normal & within expected parameters" or some other bullshit to cover their asses?

Something like a quart every 1000 miles, is normal.

Charlie, We don't want tuna with good taste. We want tuna that tastes good, smells good and puts out.

So I got a call from my dealer today, bike is done! So I went and got it and it's as quiet as can be! Thanks Riva and Honda!

Does anyone know of a dealer in eastern PA that has done one of these recalls before?

Ok. Soo I've been reading this topic all night from inside a boat in FL. I'm actually from NEw Zealand and my bike is back home.

First question:

1. Is my bike covered under the extended warranty?

2. I dont have the whine in neutral at idle however when in 1st and 2nd decelerating I get a slight whine, normal?

3. My bike seems to burn oil, I've only owned her for a couple of months but when my friend(previous owner) bought her 2 months prior to that, he swore there was oil in her. Was almost empty a couple of weeks ago.

Ideas? Suggestions? Should I call someone back home to take it into the local Honda dealership?

I might add that ages currently staying with a friend/bike mechanic and he's planning on servicing her ASAP. Should I hold off on this till he takes her into Honda? Also when cold, and I open her up I occasionally get some white smoke (could be condensation). Could it be related to the problem?
