helmet hook for 2012 1000rr?

I must be half blind because I don't see a place in the trunk to lock up my helmet. Its one thing to walk around witha bike jacket on but its not convenient to walk around with a helmet.

What are u guys doing to secure your helmet?

Yeah it should be an steel wire with a rubber cover...at least that's what is with the 06's. Just slide the wire through the helmet strap and lock it under the seat

On the 08-11s, it is two plastic tabs, one per side, on the underside of the passenger seat.

they're just a couple of plastic tabs - pretty lousy design imo. word of caution, be careful when you unlock and lift up the seat; the helmet tends to want to jump off and fall on the ground.

I've had a few bikes and they've all had the tabs under the passenger seat.
