Wrecked my 08 not too long ago, and wanna buy a new one, but very anxious to know what Honda has in store for us in 2013. Basically just curious if anyone knows/or has heard anything about the 2013...
Worth the wait, or just get a 2012??

I doubt there will be much of a difference for next year. They change changed the bike pretty dramatically with the current year model. I'd bet the biggest difference you'll see is different color options.

That's the thing, they didn't really change a whole lot this year... Looks better, better suspension, and that's about it. If it's anything like what car manufacturers do(big change after a face lift) then I think a big change is in the way...
But still wondering if anyone was able to find a spy photo or anything... Guess Im asking too much lol.

OP: do you even have a clue of the differences between the 08-12 CBRs?

Yeah douche I know a few differences between the 08-12 cbr's.
Since I couldn't find any threads that are talking about this subject, I thought I'd start one and see if anyone has a clue.. Apparently you don't.

You're going to take a poking when you fail yourself the "insight" that's provided in free forums like this. There's been plenty of discussions regarding Honda's past, present, and future development of their machines; had you paid any attention you might understand they just redesigned the 2012 1k... why would they design another after 1 year?

What might that mean you ask? At least 1 more year of the same model with varied color schemes between the two years.

SC57 04-05 Color Variation
SC57 06-07 Model update + color Variation

SC59: Complete ground up redesign.

SC59 08-09 Color Variation
SC59 10-11 Model update + color Variation.

Sense a pattern here Medy?

Only change is that it was expected that 2012 would bring about the 3rd generation of the 1k with a complete redesign; yet Honda decided to update the model instead. Ideas of what 2013 has for ya?
