thought i'd share my bike and its progress

I had a 600 for my first bike. Broad cut me off in a corner and a median with gravel finished the deal. That was at 65mph. Sucked as it did, I learned a lot. That was in Ckarksville TN when I was in the military. I learned to ride on a liter bike in bum f*ck IL. The bike makes a world of difference when learning to ride. I bought my 600 and it was like going to three wheels of fun. Just seemed easier. None the less. Props for still going. I turned around and bought a 750 the next week. Don't be scared of those brakes. They're there to save your ass. Finding a school will help loads. Plus, where I'm at, saves on insurance premiums. Track, street, drag strip, its all fun. Beautiful fix up and lessons learned.

That's pretty funny, lol... If say stretched Busa with NOS....

But all joking aside, I give you respect and credit for getting back on. I know you may be set in a litre bike, but there is a reason for 600cc bikes.

Let me put it to you this way. Even after one qualifies for the AMA pro road racing series, they cannot jump straight into superbike. They have to accrue time and points on a 600 before they can move to the next class. That rule applies to racing series' all over the globe. 600's are a handful for your top level racer, let alone a new motorcyclist...

Try to keep an open mind. Everyone will give you crap on here, don't take it personally. And I can assure you, 600's are much more manageable than 1000's. that's coming from world class racer's that I've ridden with with world superbike and motogp resume's...

LOL thanks daveblank and dallas... its hok candy red over black... absolutely love it. its such a weird color. on a shady day it looks like a chrome finish, sunny days its candy, night its really dark... u just have to see it to understand.

fite234 ya i gotcha.. makes sense, but in the manner of my falls i think i woulda fallen on any bike... locked up the front tire...? idk maybe abs woulda helped? but it was so quick i cant even recall the time lapse between hitting the brakes and the ground haha
