I really hope you're more responsible with guns than you are with bikes... Saying its only a matter of time before you pull the trigger is one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard...

cbrguy, i think the red wine looks even better than the original black. Don't sweat the dbags - they are on every forum out there and they think that their shit dont stink. everyone drops their bike. everyone.

yes, 1000 is prolly not the smartest bike to start with, but its said and done, you've got your learner drops out of the way, and its good that you're looking forward and you're positive about everything. take care and be safe bud.

I ride a gsxr in Maryland. maybe thinking about switching to Honda this year.

been looking for a 04-07 1000rr actually, not a huge fan of the 08-11s. maybe a 12 or 13

oh, gsxr... haha jk, theyre okay. not a fan tho, lots of assholes ride them... and yeah u will be happy with a honda, they handle amazing IMO. i rode my friends gsxr and r1 and im not gunna lie, they kinda sucked to ride, although the r1 was suuuuper smooth. the way they wanted to turn in was unpleasant and felt unsafe
