I thought about it but my dad has a Harley Vrod (the first year they made it) and I really liked riding that but just think a lot of parts are ugly about it... The muscle looks 100 times better but isn't as comfortable.

I should have tried the gel seat honestly... but it was one of those "impulse buys" when I finally bit the bullet

A buddy of mine had a v-rod back in the day, I don't recall him ever mentioning that his was . Then again, I don't remember him ever doing really long rides

Yep... To work alone the ride is about an hr right now... Then I make trips to Ft Lauderdale to visit family every month or so maybe twice a month (about 250 miles for me).

Ill have to get a memory foam custom seat haha

Sold the Harley and got a 2011 R1 lol

Don't bash me just yet. I wanted to try it out because I was able to snag this one up brand new 0 miles for 8k

Still love the rr's but I think as a street rider, I will enjoy the R1 the same.

Will post up for more info on all my awesome purchases lol
