1000RR Riders Map

Anybody in the <insert city name here> area?

It seems this question has been asked a thousand times, especially down in the regional sub-forums, and it seems this question doesn't usually get much feedback. I'll be honest, I don't look at my regional sub-forum consistently.

I haven't seen a riders map on this forum, so I thought I would throw this idea out there.

What you do is click the link below.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...edc4b03e7faba6

You will see a google map with placemarkers showing where previous 1000RR riders have posted their locations.

**You will need a google/gmail account to edit the map**

Once logged in, and viewing the map, click on the Red EDIT button

You will then have the option to add your location by clicking on the blue placemarker and adding a placemarker (with your 1000RR.net name preferrably) to the map

Once that is complete, simply click Save and then Done

Perhaps this will be a helpful resource when trying to organize group rides and/or regional events.

I have seen this on other forums as well. Cool idea, especially for those of us that like to travel the country on two wheels and meet up with other riders along the way. I usually get out for a couple week long trips every year with a buddy of mine.
