this was not my first bike I have been riding for 30 years. My last bike was a CBR1000FP 1993 model and have rised the road many times before. It was my first ride on the new bike and I guess I must have applied the brake to hard. The old bike had shit brakes so had to pull hard.
The post is still the same as I went over the road again on Sunday. My insurance just covers the bike and my home contents covered the helmet, jacket and gloves.
We have a system in New Zealand called accident compensation. Free ambulance, hospital care, check ups, physic etc and they pay 80% of my wages while I was off work. We pay levies to the government through things like vehicle registration and petrol.
It has certainly has given me a wake up call and have been taking it easy on the new bike.
