I don't know much honestly, but that sounds like a normal thing to me, I'll try it this evening on the way back home. and let you know.

My 2006 didn't do it but my new 2012 does. I'm fairly certain it has to do with the slipper clutch that is now standard on these.

Just my thoughts after looking at how the Honda unit is made. I could of course be completely incorrect

My 05 had the slipper and it didn't do this. Of course now that I know that A LOT of other peoples are doing it I know that if something goes wrong surely Honda will fix it. I just hope that it doesn't blow up and hurt anyone if it is defective.

Well the 05 wasn't a slipper oem so it may be with Hondas hardware for the basket etc.

My 08 ZX-10R had a horrible throttle vibration. It was so bad my hand was numb after 5-10 minutes lol. That stuff just don't feel right and is not an acceptable characteristic! My 07 and 11 gsxr 1000s didn't have no vibrations at all so that is not normal.

Op isn't referring to throttle vibration while riding. He is speaking of the more noticeable vibration coming from the engine when the transmission is disengaged in neutral and the clutch is released at idle.

I know that but I'm just saying Honda isn't the only one who has things like that sometimes.

I've been checking mine while I'm at lights for the last few days, I didn't notice any changes, I tried to feel the vibration by focussing on the right handle, I hardly can feel anything, I'm still not sure if it does it or not!! but if it does, it's very little, I kept trying to feel it, where I started imagining it lol. but honestly if there is, I wouldn't be worried about it until it becomes a big problem or safety issue. IMO everything vibrates like crazy anyways lol.
