everything signaled by the CAN bus will work(tach, mph, odo)... gear indicator will not due to the lack of a sensor...
everything thats a simple on/off light (Highbeam, signals, Neutral, etc) will work.
its not plug and play, but can be wired up.
edit:
oh, and since they go into the same fairing stay, the 2012 one does physically bolt in just fine as well.
