2007 vs. 2008

So, what do you guys think? which is better the 06-07 or the 08-11?

The '08 for sure, there were a lot of improvements. I would look for an '09 and above to avoid the flawed oil control rings.

I'm not sure. I have both and I love my 06 a lot more right about now.. Maybe because I've had it longer and I'm used to it. The 06 is bigger and since im 6'3" it suits me better. Riding the 08 almost reminds me of riding the 08 600's

While I do agree to an extent, you may forget that you've got 1000cc between your legs and lose yourself off of the bike... I like both, dont get me wrong, but it seems a lot has been "shaved" off from the smaller front to the extremely smaller rear on my 08.. Love the power tho....

I have a 2007 and im totally in love with her, and i've also taken my friends 2009 for a spin...i gotta say the 2009 has a better feel...my conclusion is that after 2 years im going to get myself the newest model.
