I use Motul C1 chain cleaner http://www.motul.com/us/en-US/produc...%5Brange%5D=21

And Motul C4 chain grease (white) http://www.motul.com/us/en-US/produc...%5Brange%5D=21

After hitting it with C1 the chain just oozes black coming off it, great product and the C4 chain lube is incredible. Sprays out like water and instantly becomes tacky.

The chain is clean and the noise is somewhat gone...but i was cleaning my brakes as i had my bike on stands (both front and back). I noticed that when i spun my front wheel, it made a scrapping noise (pretty light) as it was spinning, im guessing its somewhat touching my front break pad..(im under the assumption that its normal...yes??)

I've had a small rock stick in the caliper before and make odd sounds.

Pads drag on rotors normally and the sound like a smooth sliding sound, as mentioned...that is normal.
