In SoCal we get some sun during the winter but not every day. It's off-road season here and that's more fun in the rain. That helps alot but I'm not independently wealthy so M-F it's work.

Gaming helps, I just got my 10 year Helmet from XBox live.

I also took up welding, got a cheap flux core wire fed welder from Harbor Freight. Practice, Practice, Practice. Things are no longer falling apart but they are not pretty yet. If I find enough things to work on I might make the move to a true MIG with more adjustability. In the meantime I am working on mastering the art of not blowing holes in thin metal, thick(er) stuff is easy. Obviously the cheapo welder will eventually be a limitation and I'm not working on anything that will save someones life (or not).

BTW - The wife is understanding about the "man" things, especially going 150+ on a race track on the CBR! Probably because I'm doing that for my mid life crisis instead of looking for younger women.

Edgy is not the word for what I get in the winter. Thats why I get on snow mobiles and go snowboarding I need to feed the adrenaline junkie in me in the off season.

I wish my wife would see it this way too, but she just bitches about that I spent to much time on the bike (not riding, just working on it )

I got edgy on my ride home a couple nights ago. The drunken tools driving around and unusual amount of traffic me had me so angry that combined with the midnight wind chill I could hardly keep the front wheel on the ground trying to get away.

Atleast Im not the only 1!
I just went to action sports DVD and purchased a few bike videos.
Isle of Man & Faster(Have not seen yet) & Judgement Day 5 (its not me - buit its fun to watch pschyos doing 120mph on 1 wheel down the highway)
Just bought another used copy of tourist trophy & got my daytona sportbike & moto 2 seasons on DVR.
Its not much but it will have to do, by Feb. I will be insane - this happens every year.
I swear I gota move!!!!!!!

I think most wifes are like that. Mine is too, she gets jealous sometimes.
And i have told her, i have 2 big loves, her and my bike, both empty my walet, but only one never complains!!!:-)))

And by the way i miss my summer days when i can enjoy riding my bike, going to work faster than with my pick up truck and saving money on fuel!

Yeah that's true. I almost moved to Salt Lake this year because of that. I love winter sports though so maybe it wouldn't have been so bad for me. Motorcycle riding would've definitely taken a hit though.
