Edgy during Winter time

Just wondering if it's only me or some other bikers get edgy during winter time (non riding season) as well? Riding is an outlet for me to get my frustration out, and every winter I get edgy or frustrated pretty quick. Just blew out at the senior guy at work. And people at work just asked me why every year around winter time I get angry for small stuff... I blame the lack of riding during this time of year.

Still mid-high 70's here in Tucson. Sometimes I wish we had a winter.

I do as well, but I think my issues are more than just not riding. I ride off road during the winter, so I still get my two wheeled fix.

My dad owns a tree business, so I grew up with winters being slow and not having as much money to play with, plus he was always on edge because of the lack of income. The grass is brown, all the leaves are off of the trees, etc. I'm an outside kind of guy, so when it's cold and dull out, I end up inside more than I'd like to be.

Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. I wish I was in AZ right now. It's Sunny out, but it's 32 degrees in NYC right now...

Feeling like you do is more common than you might think.
I personally hate this time of year

Not being able to ride has taken away an outlet to relieve stress,
More likely causes for feeling edgy can be associated with seasonal changes; cold weather, gray skies, shorter daylight hours, and like Topher mentioned less green on the trees and ground.
Now add in the holiday insanity that has become so commonplace and no wonder you feel a little on edge

Its 25-40 here during the days, I ride all winter long unless there is snow/ice on the road.

Gunn, I am in NYC as well, park at Ryders Alley. Yep, absolutely hate this weather in terms of not being able to ride. Bums me out.

I bought a used PS2 for $30 over the weekend with a copy of the Tourist Trophy game, to keep the addiction fed.
