Unhappy Worst day ever!!!

So I'm hooking up my PCV and in the process of hooking up the throttle body sensors to the PCV one of the wires on the wire harness strts glowing red and melting...I figured I wasn't grounded properly, and then after inhaling a crap load of smoke I see one if the small wires melted naked...(the bike was off during the whole process)

I'm praying that I didn't fry my Ecu...now I found a wiring harness and a Ecu used for a couple of hundred dollars but its off an 2006 cbr1k I'm curious if you guys know if it will fit my 07 cbr1k...thanks in advance

Sorry to hear that. I believe the 06-07 are basically the same bike. I don't see any reason it won't work. I'm sure some of these guys will chime in with a def answer. Good luck man. Sucks when stuff happens to the bike!

Thats why allways when you play with wires have to dissconect batery. Probarly you have pinched some wire somewhere.
