I have an idea. Who is a good promoter?

I have an idea for a yearly get together. It would need to be in the central US. Maybe Dallas, Oklahoma City, or ????.

My thoughts.

*We could call it "CBR Fest". Or anything better.
*Open to any year/size CBR.
*Allow other bikes & put them in the "Other" category.
*It would last a weekend.
*If it could be done at a track for a track day---great. If the track has road race & drag race=====BONUS POINTS.
*Bike show for those that like to do that.
*Parts corral for people to sell personal items.
*Organize a group ride for those that wanted to do that.
*Vendors booths.

I'm sure it would start small with just a few people coming, but it would grow every year. Arrangements could be made for a group rate at a hotel.

Don't think it will work? Google "LX springfest". It has finally migrated to California. It has become big enough that Ralph Gilles who heads up the SRT department for Chrysler shows up.

I'd be down to get something like that going. I'm in the DFW, it's a big bike scene here.
Austin is as well, and will probably become more popular with COTA being added.
We would probably have to start with a few guys, website, a brainstorm session, and go from there.

I think the whole idea thats exclusive for CBRs is cool..adding other bikes kinda makes it a regular bike rally..ya know? but i do see how it would be a bigger turn out by inviting other sport bike brand riders.

Look at the big brain on J.!

If it's in Dallas, I'm in.
Otherwise, all my extra 2013 money is going to the race season...
