same bs with helmets @ 5 years......

i have 2 helmets that are 15 years old, they are just like new with small scratches...

I have four helmets but I am down to using only one.

Shoei X12 I use all the time.
Arai RX7 don't use any more, can't stand the shield system.
Arai Quantum, ditto above.
Shoei X11, don't use because I bought one size too large.

I am trying to sell the three I don't use, if I do, I would buy another one, just one helmet is not enough. You can't have too many.

Me too! I don't get it. I just keep blowing the side pods off. I have 4 Arai helmets (I do use them), and took me forever to install tinted shields with tear-off posts. The Shoei, Shark,and Suomy shields are a snap.

I really feel stoopid watching the Isle of Man races....they come in the pits and a guy runs out and changes the rider's shield (on Arai) in seconds! Guess it just takes practice.
