Wow, bummer dude! I would kill my wife if she did that! Doesn't sound like $3k worth of damage though?

You could easily fix it yourself, find some used replacement fairings on ebay. Or just ride it like this if you don't mind, you're bound to mess up the fairings sooner or later!

See if you can get the insurance company to give you the check, and then order the parts yourself. Fix the bike in a week instead of 3 months and make a profit on the accident!

I like this idea... But premiums could suffer. Fixing it yourself via parts nation is the cheapest and fastest route for sure

You can find fairings on eBay for a tenth the price anywhere asks. Even the 20th anni colors.

Well that sucks; remind your woman to check her six before backing up in the future and don't park your bike in a spot where it'll get backed over again...

Not a good idea dude. Fit is 1/10 as good and color will NEVER match.

Always OEM unless it's for racing.

What about the Divorce Mod...yeah they are expensive but they are also completely worth it.

J/K I'm sure she feels horrible about it, my wife would be at the dealer trying to replace my entire bike if she did that.

I don't have many spare parts just yet for the '12 but I do ahve a factory windscreen, factory license plate tail/blinkers/etc.
