In general folks will say honda make great bike BUT if u want 2 go fast buy a GSXR or a Kawi.

Etc... and the cbr1000rr has the best platform for going fast. Minus performance Parts are SUPER expensive.

Yeah, and I beat a CBR600RR on my VTX1800, from a street light to well over 1/8 of a mile too!

I have a 2006 1000RR, and a buddy of mine has a Busa. He absolutely walked away from me, when I was still learning how to ride the bike, and am sure he still would now two years later...

If anything its THE RIDER thats not fast enough. This IS the golden age of motorcycling. Across the board , bikes have become SO good even the fast guy at the average track day cannot reach the limits of a modern sportbikes ability. The modern 1000cc sportbike
handles better and is as fast if not faster than Kevin Schwantzs factory superbike.
So when I hear someone say there cbr1000,gsxr1000 isnt fast enough I see a rider that needs to back to the track and sharpen his /her skills.
