CBR1000rr Not Fast Enough

Why Dont people race cbr1000rr other than on the track .Cant never find any races on youtube for high way roll-ons or even 1/4 mile racing. There are some but few and far between
In general folks will say honda make great bike BUT if u want 2 go fast buy a GSXR or a Kawi.
I personally have owned gsxr1000s and have a 2008 zx10r heads..cams...NOS..
Etc... and the cbr1000rr has the best platform for going fast. Minus performance Parts are SUPER expensive.

Most people don't race CBR's because they don't get contingency money from Honda.

I love my Honda but sorry to say... it is easier to coax more power out of a gsxr and the kawasaki/bmw are already far ahead on power. I've seen +200hp gsxr's racing in the AFM but the most hp I've seen out of a similar modded cbr was 185. They do handle better though.

Just ask Johnny Rae in World Superbike. He beat Marco Melandri on a CBR 1000 several times against Melandri's BMW S1000.He also took him out a few times too.Good times.

Not many videos of cbr's racing on the highway because cbr owners are smarter then gsxr and zx owners.
I love my cbr and think it handles great. A plus for me is having a good reliable bike that not everyone has. Def not as easy to get used parts though.

I like the bang for the buck. I wish I could afford the BMW but that's how it goes. The honda for me gives me good comfort compared to the other bikes.
