Stalling Issues

I have a 2008 CBR1000rr. For some reason my bike just quits. I turn the key to the OFF position then back to the ON position then it starts up. Has anybody experienced this problem? If so what did you do to fix the problem?

A little more info needed. Does it quit while you're riding along, sitting at a stoplight or what?

I'm having the same issue. Right after I replaced the stator, battery and K&N filters. My stalls out when I come to a sudden stop. Never while riding though. Not sure if it's a bad battery or what. Bike is a 06 1KRR has about 14k on it. any ideas?

Do either of you have power commanders? If so, I left the map from 0-4000rpms as the base map and it solved my problems.

I do have a power commander. You think off of just K&N filters it would cause my bike to stall out. It's mainly when coming to a stop.

I did replace my clutch lever while the bike was torn apart. The old one was broken. How would I make sure it's properly in place

I'm getting the same issues with mines...it happened twice now when im clutching in and dropping the gear. seems like the rpm drops way too quickly then it causes bike stalls.

The issue isn't linked with any parts you've put on your bike besides the PC, i'm guessing. In my situation it was the map I chose. It didn't add enough fuel at 0% throttle which caused the engine to shut off. I would recommend plugging in the base map values at 0-4000 rpms in the 0% and 2% throttle position columns...
