HESD LIGHT COMES ON BIKE CUTS OUT

ive googled this, and alot of people seem to remedy this with tightening the + batt wiring...i checked mine and its okay... seems like everytime i hit a big bump the bike would throw an HESD and CEL light, bogs..then continues.. but if i pull the clutch as that occurs the bike dies completely... i traced the problem down to the tank. everytime i put pressure on the tank with my leg..or hit a bump the bike would throw the HESD and CEL light...so i took everything apart then reassembled... no more problems..any thoughts? i disconnected each plug on the bike one by one, and i couldnt find one that would throw the HESD or Cel when removed.... (this happens with bike off or running)

added note:

before i took off the tank i would be able to hit the side of the tank with my hand and the error codes would reloop, then go away

Sounds exactly like an electrical connection issue.

Very annoying, and time consuming to troubleshoot.

Could have had a plug not snapped all the way in causing the wires to get power / ground off and on I would check all your connections use electrical grease and make sure you hear them snap back in, also try pulling on wires a tiny bit to make sure they won't unplug

Happened to me after cleaning my air filters, think I might have tugged on the fuel pump power cable little too much and it unseated for a second. Bike would cut off randomly, sometimes start up, After hitting the tank because I thought I had a bad fuel pump, it would start.
