Idleing way to high 06 cbr1000 please some one help

So I just bought a 06 cbr 1000 that has custom straight exhaust, but it has a sort of baffle in it, just no packing. It was idling fine,but once it got colder out, I got on it and it wouldn't drop any lower than 2 grand. I then tried adjusting the idle, it helped for about two blocks then it was right back to 2 grand. I had to ride the clutch to keep the idle down at stop signs. When i made it home i tried backing the idle screw out again it was 2 full turns and it barley affected it. Please some one give me some ideas.

Dont know if you are still having that issue, but mine is doing the same thing ever since it got cold out. I am still riding my bike up in the northeast so its getting really cold old out. My bike is bone stock, and I always just assumed its normal cold idle function. After my bike his 120 degree or so the idle comes down to the normal range. Hope this helps.
