So I am looking to get a new pair of rear sets but don't know which ones are better Vortex or Woodcraft. I understand its riders preference, but any advise from anyone that has used them longer than I have would be greatly appreciated. I currently have a set of Dan Moto rear sets right now but looking for a change.
Thanks guys I've been doing some reading on the ones talked about. I really like the attack and the Vortex. Gilles is out the price range right now. Rizoma aren't to bad just need to a little more research. Oh and Jerrel I would take you up on the offer but I promised the wife I would buy a new set.
Woodcraft is known to be well made, no fuss no muss. both Vortex and Woodcraft have good customer service and parts readily available. both use 6061 while a handful of others use 7075.
In other words, the two you are considering are comparable, very similar in build quality and customer service.
I had a set of Woodcraft on mine but switched to the Gilles. I was having clearence issues with my boots on the Woodcraft. One thing I liked about them was that the pegs were super rough so they offered a lot of grip. The Gilles have worn down over time.
