Pretty sure people from warmer climes will never understand the value of good wind protection quite like more Northerly riders. Or heated grips. Haven't got too many miles on mine yet, but considering my main daily machine for the last few years is a 919 the '17s is pretty good for now...(first chilly day that sucker is a goner for sure)

Can't quite tell the brand? Looks like it belongs on the bike, anyway.

Yes, wind protection is underrated. It's a Powerbronze.

Instead of grips and taller windscreen I had a full gerbings heated gear set, pants, jacket and gloves. I got caught riding home at the beginning of a snow storm in february a few years back. 20 outside and im sweating

I've ridden at -13. With regular winter gear. Not very fun at all.
