They didn't fit well on 04-07's either. Always some gaps on every example I've seen. Very difficult to notice the blinkers also.

I know a lot people hate the Hotbodies undertail. Has anyone tried the use a led strip to replace the dim leds that come in it?

Yes, I did that when one blinker quit working. It was really easy to do, but not any better.... Just fixed the problem.

I have the HB undertail on my '08 1K.... It does not fit right and I had a blinker go out.

Not impressed.

I had a hot bodies undertail on my old gixxer. It didn't fit, the color didn't match, one of the indicators fell out, it left a huge gap between the seat cowl and the tail plastic, and I tossed it not long after purchase. I don't think much has changed from what I hear.

Bikelitez FE with some 3M Di-Noc....suits me fine and cost a total of $48.55. Put the saved money on a good set of brake lines for the front.
