Help with adjusting shifter linkage with Vortex rearsets

Ive got vortex rearsets on my 06 1000RR and i adjusted the peg position up two holes from the previous owner and now my bike doesnt shift into gear. How do i go about adjusting my shifter linkage so it shifts like butter again? Thanks in advance!

Change the length of the rod! If you move it farther away from where it was then you need a longer rod.

I found that i needed a slight adjustment in the length of the shifter rods but mainly my issue was the bike was sitting in a spot where it did not want to go in gear. A slight rotation of the rear tire fixed my issue and i felt like an idiot lol.
