i really need help with this!!

okay my tail light blew a couple solder in fuses i didnt think to take a pic of i when i had it apart but can anyone give me an actually name for this fuse? i need to try to find one tomorrow

If it keeps blowing that then your gonna need a new board, that's not a fuseable link.

Yep, what dude said. Your gonna need a new board, which by the way how'd you find it? And unless your good with a soldering gun/iron( and I mean have actual skill) I wouldn't attempt to fix it by yourself. I took apart a Xbox controller to wire in a USB plug, melted through the first one I tried. Takes a little practice

my uncle fixes boards on computers for a living he is going to do it and on mine it is a fuse i know that for a fact i even had him look at it and he said so but i am going to try to find someone local with a light tomorrow i would preffer fixing this one for a few bucks in fuses first moneys tight right now

If itis a fuse then you have an underlying issue and it's gonna blow again. Why not spend a few bucks before it fails again and you get slammed from behind? Not picking at you but...i'd worry more about when it fails the next time that's if it won't fail right away.

and that is a very good point i didnt even consider its not like would really be able to tll when it goes out if im on it

When i wired in my security system I swear I checked it out before I tucked it all away but on my first ride out, this dude rides up next to me and starts pointing at my pipe, so when we come to a stop he ends up sayin my turn signal is flashing the wrong way. Never would have known, my side lights were right and so was my dash, but yea it's not easy to spot on your own ride sometimes.

Why that blow up in first place? If you just replace it,and dont check wires, will blow up again!
