04-07 Head work and cam questions
I have been trying to do some research on making big horsepower with these motors and it seems that some have had some real success. I do have some questions tho if anyone has some insight.
Where are the gains to be had with HRC ECU vs stock and a power commander?
Does the PC lack fuel adjustment? The ability to add enough timing? eed more RPM with cams so the increased rev limiter comes into play? What is a safe RPM on stock internals?
Would just like to clarify what the advantages are and who would benefit from them.
What cam grinds work with stock heads? What about ported? What compression ratio's work best with XXX combination?
Really I would like to compile some info so that others have a easier time as well.
I personally am hoping to clear 190rwhp on race gas, and have my bike ready for tx2k13. Lets get some info and discussion going guys.
