I get quite a few requests to try my map, so I figured we should make a sticky thread in here with a place to post maps for people.

If you are not able to provide a link, at least let people know what you have on your bike for mods and results of the parts and map and contact info so people can get the map from you.

Mine is for

04 1000RR
BMC Race Filters
Sato Ti Oval Slip On
Flapper Mod
PAIR Mod
Pump Gas

result, 160 rwhp

My friend has dynoed this map on his 1kRR with stock filter and Micron slip on only.

Numbers where better then pc3 micron map on the dyno and more response on the street,

WHY???

Btw his bike hit 146.

all bikes are different and respond to changes in fueling in their own way. While a map for Micron may work well in one area, it may take a different map to work in another.

Ideally, a custommap is the wy to go. It is made for your bike and your bike alone.

To add to the list of maps here is my custom map tuned by Fast by Ferraci out in PA. If you sample it please leave some feedback on it's effectiveness. My mods were the flapper mod, full akra evo exhaust, bmc race filters, up to a 42t in the rear with a 520 chain conversion...

Where's the graph? How'd it do on your bike?

The map gained me a 12.1 hp peak and damn near just as much tq. A couple people online requested the map and since I am not stingy even though I did pay good money for it I decided to share.

In case some of you were wondering my elevation is around 480ft.

Well I just uploaded this map. I was using a stock map and the bike was running very lean. Had lots of carbon build up at exhaust port and tail section was turnig yellow. So after I loaded this map it was a world of difference. It feels like a completly different bike. Al I have to do is flick the throttle in 1st. above 2k and the front end jumps off the ground. The power is way more linear through the entire pwoer band and it pulls alot harder in the top end even at low rpm's where as before it was sluggish and i'd have to down shift to really accellerate. Now I do not have the exact same mods but very close. I have PCIII USB, Full Ti oval Arata, K&N Race filter, Flapper, PAIR and of coures always run 92 octane. I am very happy with this map thank you. Once I get teh intake upgraded I will fine tune it or maybe look for a map that is closer to the mods I got but as of right now it has made a world of difference:D

ive been looking around and havent found a map for my application yet. all i have is a jardine rt-1 street slip on
flapper mod
pc3usb
im thinking of getting a K&N air filter, but im not spending 90$ on one. powercommander recommended the micron slip on map because it is "close" but i have a lot of power loss on the low end compared to the original pipe, of course due to the free'er flowing exhaust. anyone know what i should do or where i can find a better map.

Get the BMC filters, not K&N.

Use the Erion SO Map from Dynojet. It's a good one.

I tried this map today and preffered it over my custom map. On/off throttle was nice and smooth, and there was a nice hit at 7000 rpm. What did you get for HP with this map?

I am skeptical of the peak numbers that came about from my tuning session(170hp & 84tq) only because they are basically unrealistically high for the mods I have performed. However, what I was impressed with from the tuning session (which was later confirmed by the @ss dyno) was a 12hp increase from the base map I was running(Luis' Map) and the welcomed almost 10 ft lbs of tq. After getting to try the map at Beaverrun and Summit Point I have no qualms with the smoothness of the map as transitional throttle changes were never an issue, and power delivery seems to be immediate and linear. So basically your impressions seem to be dead on with mine... Here is the link to my original posting of the dyno sheet, hope it helps!

PS I am glad to see that someone out there actually tried my map, and to help visualize the beast here is a pic from Summit!! (Sorry I needed a reason to post a pic)
