Can Rennsports/Supercorsas be reversed?

I use Rennsports for track days and have the utmost confidence in them, the only problem is they're expensive and wear out quickly. The majority of tracks I run on are much harder on the right side of the tire compared to the left. My question is, does anyone know for sure if they can be reversed when heavy wear is evident on one side but not the other? I seem to remember reading that due to their construction Rennsports and Supercorsas are reversable where many other brands are not.

I agree. Rennsports are great tires and usually the only tire I'll run. They do wear out quickly. My usual track is more lefts than rights so my lefts get worn early. Yes, I do flip them and have not had any problems, just take it easy for a few "full temperature laps" before spinning them up.

Yes they can & I've done it many times unless of course you do this to a new one in 13 laps LOL

Are you guys running the right pressure. it seems to me that after 13 laps those tires shouldn't be run in like they had 31 laps on them

I pulled off some 1:42's at Barber with those tires on an RC51 & if you've ever been to that track you know that is just plain flat ass hauling on a big heavy ass pig like the RC.

I missed the set-up a bit too with too much rebound for the cooler temps, but all in all I think I just used them for all they were worth as the only other bikes in that same time range were all smaller bikes a couple R6's & a hopped up SV650. None of the literbikes were even close to those times especially the RC's

Thanks for the replies, I figured it was OK but wanted some confirmation.

I shagged a tire at Barber last March too but it was the front not the back, completely shot after a day and a half. Ironically my rear (tire) was fine.

Yup Barber is extremely hard on front tires. Way more than any track I have ever been too, but I have my front end set-up perfectly & get really good wear out of it.

dont ever flip race tires.....its the most dangerous thing you could do besides running no air or not wearing a helmet
