Just wanted to remind the greater Charlotte, NC area riders that every Wednesday we have a dinner ride through out the season. These normally start at the first of March, and end around mid November. This is the 5th year that I have been hosting these, and I have met a lot of great folks as a result.
Each week a different restaraunt and a different route is taken, to keep things interesting. The meet n greet fires off at 1800, and the ride leaves at 1830 sharp. Bring your gear, a full tank of gas, and a willingness to hang out with some really cool people, and have a fun ride.
***Disclaimer*** These rides constantly vary with the skill sets of people who attend, from the knee dragger, to the 'hey, I just bought a bike' kind of rider. As a result, a relaxed pace is introduced, and safety is of the utmost concern. If pulling wheelies, running from the law, or endangering a fellow rider is your tea, please do not come out, as I can not have someone taken out by silly riding.
We meet at Interstate Cycle off of exit 28, on I-77. You can NOT miss the dealership, and the folks who run it are great people who have sponsored these rides for us these last 5 years. I post on all sorts of boards, but http://www.charlottesportbikes.com under the Planned Rides section is where I normally place information about each of the rides. (Thanks Jim for allowing the plug)
I look forward to getting a chance to meet some of the board members here, and only hope that I do not have to go to DG to get a chance to meet some of ya'll, like I did to Jim and the boys the other day
