Medic11 04-30-2006, 02:16 PM Anyone know of any clubs or groups who ride in the Indianapolis area? Or even some good ways to gather riders. I am fairly new to the area and am desperately looking for people to ride with.
Thanks for your help
JoeRoke 04-30-2006, 02:20 PM Welcome to the site!
IndyHondaRR 04-30-2006, 06:32 PM depends what kind of riding you like to do. People who actually ride are hard to find, but if you just like to go out and cruz the town and park there are a few places that are packed thurs. fri, and sat. nights. If you like to do track days or want to hit corners the best place to go is a few of the local cycle shops and talk to the guys that work there. Dreyer on washington street has alot of good people, and I think flatout southside has a few to, same with indysuperbike up on the northeast side of town.
Medic11 05-11-2006, 04:12 PM thanks for the info, and i really enjoy all aspects. I love to get out and ride, but who doesn't like to sit down town on a friday night and what all the hotties walk by and stare!
IndyHondaRR 05-12-2006, 06:27 PM it be great if there were that many hotties, in indy your lucky to see half a dozen a night, most are corn fed farm girls with there guts hangin out under there shirts, but hey...big girls need luvin to eh?....If you like the curves head down st rd 37 twards bloomington and once you get down there youll be near brown county, lots of nice roads and once you go into nashville, IN its a motorcycle haven...lots of fun to be had around that area. If you want to just ride and ride hard, go during the week, lot less traffic to contend with, if you want to go and hang out and just go for a nice ride go on the weekend. Its a little town with lots of people, bikes, shops, restarants, and pubs. (dont drink and ride) Disclaimer....Anywho, enjoy the area and the people, there are a few good ones!
Medic11 05-14-2006, 05:06 PM LMAO, big girsl do need some lovin, but as im sure you know, the 1kR can only safely haul 350lbs, and once im on that doesnt leave a whole lot of leeway for that fat girls!! Anyways thanks a lot for the info, sounds like a great ride down south, and if this freakin rain ever stops ill be sure to give it a try!
Medic11 05-19-2006, 08:16 PM So the weather finally starts to break, I am ready to ride this thing to work
Its thursday eve, down to the garage i go, sit on her and start backing out of the garage, UHHHH OHHHHH back end is not feeling good at all
On the rear stand she goes, and wouldn't you know, its about 10days old, has 230miles on it and there is a tiny piece of metal sticking out of the tire
Work all day fri, sat and sun so i cant even think about fixing it until monday!
Now, question is, anyone know or have a good guess on what i can get out of honda, i know the warranty says it doesnt cover tires, but should it at least be prorated, and what the thought on just patching it, i have heard a lot of people say don't patch these tires because they dont hold up well, but i have never gotten an educated opinion on it.

You will be buying a tire. Don't patch it. It is not worth the risk.
Medic11 05-20-2006, 05:18 AM Same as factory tire, or should i be considering something better? Its got the pirelli on it now
The_Doctor 05-20-2006, 06:54 AM Either the Pirelli or the Michelin Pilot Power
IndyHondaRR 05-23-2006, 12:26 AM sorry for the bad luck, stick with the pirelli...good all around tire!
