I ended up getting a nail in the tire and it has a decent size hole. I am replacing it due to the type of riding and speeds that I do. about 1500 miles and two track days on it. I would never run a patched tire and wouldnt recommend it but I'm sure there might be a few peeps out there that are on a budget and obey speed limits and just maybe dont think a patch would hurt anything. Its a 190-50-17. Just pay the shipping and its yours. If someone thinks this is a bad idea let me know and i will scrap the post.
Its 1030am pst I will be taking it in to get replaced like 2pmish so few hours before i have them dispose of it.

It would work well for stunting but that is all I recommend it for

If white falls through I need one and will take it. I had a suspension issue and my rear tire is fucked.

I'm local and would take it if the others fall through.

patching a tire is fine... i did it once and ran it ALMOST as normal as before it had the hole... but just keep an eye on it and check pressure regularly

For anyone's future reference, I patched a pair of Metzler Z1 and Z2 tires (this was around 1996) with about 500 miles on them. I got the full 6,000 miles that was normal for my 95 Honda F3. 1,200 or so of those miles were routndtrip across the Mojave desert at 130mph in some parts (yes, I got tired of desert and forgot I was on patched tires....then I'd remember and slow down.......then creep back up till I remembered again).
Never lost air and had no problems.

I ran 156 mph for 5 miles straight with another RR 8 feet off of my tail on Saturday too, but that doesn't mean it was smart or safe.

Yes yes yes...and I've done 185 (indicated) in nothing but jeans and a T-shirt. I wasn't saying it's safe or suggested, just that a plug CAN hold up and even withstand abuse. I forgot to put the obligatory YMMV. I'll update my sig so I don't forget again. :th_salute:
