Reliable Mechanics in Melb, Aus?

Looking round the inner West/North area. Anyone with knowledge of reliable mechanics?

Not keen on shop mechanics.

Used to be a good one in Abbotsford, just off Punt Rd called David but he closed down.

You can try Dynoverks, but they are in Boronia. Worth the travel though.
You could try Balls in Sunshine, but I dont know if they're still open. Sadly the owner ( RON ) was killed recently in a motorcycle accident. RIP

Theres Pete the pom on St Georges rd Fitzroy. He tought the Honda mech's back in the day at Honda HQ

Take it to Brett, known him for a long time in Melbourne. He did a pre-inspection for my 250, all servicing on my 600RR and now I'll be taking my brand spanking 1000RR to him for all services.

It's a fair ride out, but the quality of service is awesome. Reasonable rates, and he can order in anything you need for both road and dirt bikes.

S Jay motorcycles in Tullamarine is also a good option. About 15 friends of mine as well as myself all take there bikes there.

By far the best mechanic in the west is the little spanish guy from BIKES PLUS on Keilor Rd. I wouldn't take my bikes anywhere else.
