Question regarding jacket fitting...

I'm looking in purchasing a Dainese Traxx jacket. I tried on a 46 and found it to be comfortable right off the bat. Then I put a 44 on and found it snug around the shoulder and chest area. I also found that it was difficult to even reach for my wallet in my back pocket with the 44.

I guess my question is how much will this jacket really loosen? This is basically the my first "new" jacket and I'm just not sure of how much break in actually happens. Should I stick to the 46 or will a 44 loosen up?

BTW I wear a 44 1 piece AGV suit which fits perfectly. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I just happen to own a Dainese Monza jacket and went through a similar dilemma.

I bought a size 54 (Euro), it fit comfortably, reached well, and with the liner, was a good fit. Then I remembered, it's a riding jacket and is suppose to be protective in function. So after a inquiry/confirmation on the most informative bike forums on the web (bias?), I sent the jacket back and they sent me back a 52. Still fit well and with the liner a bit more snug around the shoulders, but after a few rides, it wore it broke-in well. And that's with a G2 back protector in the jacket.

BTW... if you didn't know already, the forum is 1000rr.net.

:)

What part of AZ you from?

Thanks for the input. I guess I'll go with the 44 then.
