the 20 dollars was that pair of turn signals

thats just putting it all together, sorry for the camera phone pictures

tomorrow im going to get a new tag, that was a nasty one from my traded in bike, also ill spend another 10 dollars on a tag light

i just chopped the bottom ugly thing off, which left a small hole, which i covered in duct tape, and covered the duct tape with my tag... which is probably not very legal. but oh well.

also, those orange zip ties have to go..

ill post some finished product pictures tomorrow in the daylight

You might want to patent that idea before someone steals the right to that... Hell, you could have saved yourself $20 and just stored the plate in your storage compartment under the seat. :stirpot:

the 20 dollars was for the signals... even with the plate under the seat i need signals...

and the plates main purpose is to protect those open holes that i cut the ugly things off of. i already owned the orange zip ties :-)

Dam, didn't notice the blinkers. Nice job on that, but you will probably get some slack for the way you mounted the plate. I can't believe the Police would let that slide. On a side note, how the hell can they have "under 21" on the license plate?

well i thought it was a good idea. minus the plate...i hope you actually hang it when you get your perminant one...otherwise its like asking to get pulled over

Under 21 on the plate is just a reason to get pulled over on its own. No offense but mounted that way is just another reason to get pulled.

Dude, you just spent 11 grand on the new bike. That type of "fender kit" would be alright if the name of this fourm was Hurricane1000rr.net, At least put black zip ties on it.

Congrats on the new bike though!

Its a good cheap fix, but it also looks cheap. No offense but I really dont dig the license plate mount especially with the orange zip ties. I would just do as the others said and put the plate under the seat of mount it elsewhere, it will look much better.

in my state if you are under 21 you need a helmet, your girl on the back needs a helmet no matter what.

if you have 10,000 in personal health insurance and you are over 21 you dont need a helmet, and your lady also has that option if she has the same.

LOL...I have dibs on the first production model available

Be patient with the new bike...there will be plenty of options to dress it up by this fall and there are already several fender eliminators available.
