OK here’s the deal.
I have a deposit on a 09 CBR1000rr which is due to be delivered to the dealer on 01/28/09. I’ve read so much about the “OIL BURNING ISSUE” with the 08 bikes and frankly it’s got me scared to death. Does anybody know answers to the following questions?
Has Honda done anything about it or is just still denying its happening?
Do any of Honda techs on the forum know anything to what is going on with the bike?
Any changes to the engine between the 08 and 09 which may correct this?
