Hi guys I'm new here. But near as I can figure there are only 2 1000RRs running around the whole state. Kinda of strange. Well any wayz nice site, good info. :D

WOW! A 1000rr in Anchorage.....How cool is that! I bet you have some great scooter stories. When you finally get to ride, it has to be some of the most awesome scenery there is. How many days do you figure you'll get to ride this year? I have this picture of 4' snow drifts in July. Do you have like knobbies or spikes or a snowmobile belt set-up with skis on the forks or what? Love to see some pics! Welcome aboard dude :beer:

Its actually not that bad here. We ride about 5 months a year, I average about 8 to 10 thousand miles a season. No snow drifts in July in Anchorage atleast. I will post some pics as soon as I figure out how. :roll:

How is the riding up there? I am going to try and get stationed in Homer again if I can in a couple of years. I really loved it up there, but my rad choices are limited. Maybe I am just spoiled living in motorcycle heaven right now. What do have in the way of twisties?
