Yeah I'm in Newark. Had my RR almost two weeks.

I love it. I'm coming off a 919 so its a lot less comfortable but the power and handling is awesome. I haven't ridden it a whole lot. Just back forth to work about five times and to my beach house once. I took to bike nite at Hooters last week and mine was the only 1000RR. I just changed the oil for the first time yesterday. Seems to be a little smoother in the low rpms since I changed it. I also cleaned up the rear a little bit. I took out the middle section of the light that lights up the license plate and moved the plate up about 3 inches and trimmed up the mud guard.

Any mod's yet?

i was up there also stuck in the back i saw another red/blk one in the middle section. i am getting the arata full ti system in the next couple of weeks. i took the plate and put it under the battery. got the led pegs from tristan. after the exhaust im not going to do much else. it's fast as s**t do as far as power goes don't any extra (yet!) i bought it at planet honda. first one they had on march 13.(i think) i ride as much as the weather permits. went out a couple of times and got caught in the rain.

I got mine at Planet Honda too for $9999. I don't even try to deal with Honda East. I drove my brand new bike home in the rain. It was pouring but I had to have it that day. They thought I was nuts. I want to get an exhaust just so it sounds better. It has plenty of power for me. I want to get out and ride a lot more. I'll have to catch up with you sometime.

thats funny cause the day i bought mine it starting pouring as i was signing the papers. so i went to get the trailer and took it home that way. hey were you kirkwood yesterday around 8pm.. i was sitting at ritas and saw a blck/slvr 1000 go bye with t tags. porbaqbly not you considering you are blck1krr. im getting the full arata ti for it a week. so that should be exciting. any way pm if you want to ride sometime, i usually go out with my friend who rides a 04 red 600rr. also let me know if you plan on cleaning the rear up. i'll show my custom plate holder that goes un der the front seat. plus it won't cost you anyhting. and you should really consider tristans led pegs. looks sweet. plus i am the only one in de that has them until my friend gets his pegs back.

No that wasn't me. I didn't even get t tags I just swapped plates from my old bike. Yeah I'd like to hear that Arata system. Let me know when you get it.
