Another new member & 1000RR owner! [Archive]

Just wanted to say hello. I have been lurking this board and another RR board for the past few months while researching bike options. As you can see I chose a black 1000RR. I rode an 04' ZX10, an 03' GSXR1000 and an 02 R1 (didn't get to ride the new 04 R1, just sat on it). Overall I went with the 1000RR. I like the look, fit and finish on the bike. I also like the reliability that i have with my F2 and overall Honda experience.

I have been riding street bikes since I was 16. My first bike was a 2 year old 1981 Kawasaki GPZ550, a red and black one. So if you do the math, I am no spring chicken. My current bike (prior to the 1000RR) is a 91' F2 that I got brand new. I got away from bikes for awhile and have been putting alot of time and money into my cars and truck. I love Stangs and own a couple of them. Anyway, I felt it was time to get a new bike and get into riding again.

Anyway I just wanted to say hello and hope to contribute some to this site. Here are a couple pics of my new bike.
