Personally, I hate chromes, I think it belongs to the types of Harleys and such, also not a fan of the fat tire and longer swingarms on, but hey, there's only one person that needs to like it, and that's the owner of the bike!
I thought the same thing about their SUV until I got to do a Porsche drive experience at Homestead International this year. The diesel SUV can tow something like 8K and get 30+ mpg and is relatively quick. Totally decked out with all the creature comforts. Like 50k only. I was impressed. But the real fun was trying to get the GP to slide in the corners,, man do they stick.
I like the look of your bike mrottomon. Fat tires look mean. I couldn't have something like that as an only bike but if I was rich and could have many bikes........one would be a stop light street racer.
to each his own. your bike and if you like it that is great. I personally could never cut the handling nuts off such a great bike. I know you said it "rides out" the same as stock but I know that it doesn't. not in real corners anyway....
I used to like fat tires on sport bikes until i got one...i personally haven't operated one but id imagine the handling is severely compromised. I had a VTX1300 and did a 240 setup on it and it rode like complete poo...but it looked cool, and so does your bike so cheers!
That bike is badass, it's not extended enough to look stupid and the tire is only a 240, so it won't stand up on its own without the sidestand. That single sided arm is beautiful!
@bosarge22 lots $$ was put motor also ..ported flowed head, bored throttle bodies ,thinner head gasket pistons, rods, valves, springs, lockup clutch 50 shot of juice
